ApSeed expands to Ohio, serves Columbus preschoolers

Columbus preschoolers are getting a boost to help ensure they’ll have the skills needed to be ready for kindergarten. Educational nonprofit ApSeed provided 75 of its custom-built pre-K touchpads to preschoolers via local partners, including Stowe Mission community resources center and Little Disciples Learning Center. These are ApSeed’s first partnerships in Ohio and it is able to give these touchpads – at no charge to families – thanks to private donors including Scott and Susie Campbell.

      • A safe, internet- and camera-free touchpad that’s pre-loaded with fun, educational apps  and designed to boost literacy & language skills for preschoolers

      • With an easy-to-follow checklist that helps families understand the key skills their child needs for kindergarten and tips to show how to use the touchpad to reach these milestones
  • Text To Teach
    • Weekly text messages with coaching tips and videos to keep children learning on the go and encourage family engagement
